The General Assembly is considering legislation that would create and license anesthesiologist assistants (CAAs) for the first time in Pa.

The College Bowl contestants included 11 teams from 8 universities across Pa. The annual competition tests students' anesthetic knowledge.

The study is part of an overall focus to remove barriers and streamline the state licensing process for a number of occupations.
